Fluent supplies CEMA-rated idlers for our conveyors and general replacement. Shop carrying idlers, return idlers, troughing configurations for all belt widths and belt conveyor types.
At Fluent Conveyors we offer the following Idler types

Support the loaded side of the belt for uncompromising performance.
Available configurations:
Flat carrying idlers: Horizontal roll for flat belt applications.
Picking idlers: For agricultural and sorting applications where product selection occurs.
Equal-length troughing idlers: Standard three-roll configuration with equal roll lengths for consistent belt support.
Unequal-length troughing idlers: One long center roll with asymmetric wing rolls for shallow troughs that spread material for picking, sorting, and feeding applications.

Support the unloaded side of the belt to minimize sag, remove build-up, and maintain tracking.
Available configurations:
Beater bars: Rotating idlers that clean material from the return belt.
Disc return idlers: Spaced rubber discs that prevent material buildup and self-clean.
Rubber return idlers: Rubber-lagged rolls that provide cushioning and resist abrasion.
Steel return idlers: Standard rolls for return applications.
Urathon return idlers: Non-stick urethane-coated rolls offering superior wear resistance and chemical compatibility.

You can provide the brand and part number of the idler you’re replacing to get a match. If that’s not an option, follow these general steps to identify the right idler for your application:

CEMA (Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association) established classification standards that define idler construction duty and load capacity. Higher CEMA classes feature heavier materials, larger shafts, and more robust bearings.
Each CEMA class defines specific minimum requirements for tube wall thickness, shaft diameter, bearing capacity, and frame construction. Choose the right CEMA class for your application to prevent premature idler failure and reduce maintenance costs over the conveyor's operating life.
Fluent manufactures belt conveyor systems that rely on specific idlers for reliable operation. We supply all replacement idlers needed to support these conveyor types:
Fluent idlers feature rollers equipped with industry-leading seals on all CEMA configurations.
Enhanced protection for wash plants, dredging, and high-moisture applications

We supply preconfigured idler units or individual replacement rollers as needed.
