Transport conveyors that connect your processes

Transport conveyors that connect your processes

Fluent builds transport conveyors that move material from one process point to the next: tip floor to sort line, line to line, ground level to elevated infeed. Engineered to the distance, incline, and material on your route, whether you run a Fluent system or are retrofitting an existing line.

Our transport conveyors

The right transport conveyor depends on two things: what you're moving and how far it has to go. Idler conveyors handle most transport work. Roller chain and slider bed conveyors cover the heavy and light ends of the range.

Trough Idler

A trough idler conveyor angles the outer idlers to form the belt into a trough, holding loose material toward the center as it travels. That containment is what makes it the workhorse for moving aggregate, wood waste, glass cullet, and shredded material across a facility without spillage off the belt edges.

How we engineer the route

We design every conveyor to the path the material takes through your facility.

Run and incline

Horizontal distance and incline angle set the frame, drive sizing, and whether idlers or chain carry the load; steeper routes move to cleated chain to stop rollback.

Loading and discharge geometry

Tip points, transfer heights, and discharge are built to the equipment on each end, so material lands clean instead of hanging at the transition.

Throughput and belt width

Belt speed and width are sized to your volume, with variable speed control to re-trim as the stream shifts.

Material severity

Density, abrasiveness, shape, and impact drive the belt or chain spec, the carryback control, and the side containment.

For routes that need diverters, accumulation, or integrated controls, see our full custom conveyor capabilities.

Layouts we build into your facility

Your loading method and building constraints set the layout. We engineer to the footprint, elevation change, and equipment you already have:

Where transport conveyors hand off

Where transport conveyors hand off

Transport is the connective layer between your stages, so most builds tie into the equipment on either end. Material moving off a tip floor or transfer point usually feeds a downstream process: routing into a baler or other equipment is a feeding job, separation happens on the sorting line, and the staged flow through a material recovery operation chains several of these together. We engineer the transitions so your transport conveyor lines up with whatever it connects to.
