Evolution series uses an 18° bias installation angle (4" bias for every 12" of belt width), creating a diagonal splice pattern across the belt. Splice length must be ordered wider than belt width using the formula: Belt Width × 1.067, rounded down to the nearest inch.

Self-drilling, self-tapping screws preserve belt integrity by passing between carcass threads without cutting them. Assembly spacers come pre-inserted to align top and bottom covers correctly. Pozidrive (PZ) bits are included for immediate installation.
Applications: Medium-duty recycling systems, aggregate handling, packaging operations, mining conveyors, any application requiring field-installable splices with belt scraper compatibility and small pulley capability.
Original series uses a 5° bias installation angle (1" bias for every 12" of belt width), requiring splice length equal to belt width. For example, a 36" wide belt requires a 36" splice length. No length calculation needed.

Match the splice series to your belt's rated strength, measured in pounds per inch of width (PIW). The splice rating must equal or exceed the belt rating to prevent splice failure under load. Super Screw systems provide ratings from 200–1430 PIW, depending on the series. Never install a splice with a lower PIW rating than your belt.
The minimum pulley diameter specification prevents excessive bending stress on the splice and premature fastener wear. Super Screw systems accommodate pulley diameters from 6"–32", depending on the series selected.
Evolution series (35–80) supports pulleys from 6"–10", making these series suitable for conveyors with space constraints. Original series (80–250) requires larger pulleys from 10"–32", reflecting the heavier-duty construction.
Never install fasteners on pulleys smaller than specified.
Belt thickness after skiving determines the screw length required for proper fastener engagement. Measure from the bottom of the belt to the top of the top ply, or subtract the top cover thickness from the overall belt thickness.
Super Screw systems accommodate belts from 5/32"–3/4" (3.2–20 mm) after skiving, depending on series. Skiving removes a portion of the top cover rubber to expose the belt carcass plies, allowing screws to engage the structural fabric without cutting through it. Bottom cover skiving is recommended if the bottom cover thickness exceeds 1/8".
Splice length requirements differ between the Evolution and Original series due to different bias angles during installation.
Evolution series (18° bias): Order splice length = Belt Width × 1.067, rounded down to nearest inch. Example: 36" belt width × 1.067 = 38.412", order 38" splice length.
Original series (5° bias): Order splice length = Belt Width. Example: 36" belt width requires 36" splice length.
Super Screw splice kits are available in multiple rubber compounds engineered for specific operating environments:
Abrasion resistant (AR): White color with the lowest DIN rating (most resistant to abrasion). For sand, gravel, quarries, cement, and general abrasive applications.
Moderately oil resistant (MOR): Green color. For wood products, pulp and paper, sawmills, and environments with moderate oil or grease exposure.
Heat resistant (HOT): Orange color, rated to 392°F (200°C). For clinkear handling, foundries, hot sand, and high-temperature applications from 170°–392°F.
MSHA fire-resistant/anti-static: Blue color. MSHA-approved, fire-resistant, anti-static, and spark-resistant. For underground mining, coal operations, silos, and explosive atmospheres.
Stainless steel (SS): White, green, or blue outlined in yellow. AR, MOR, or MSHA rubber compound with 316 stainless steel screws and internal hardware. For corrosive environments, chemical fertilizer plants, chemical processing, and some mining applications.
FDA/USDA food grade: White color (entire splice). For food processing, packaging, and applications requiring washdown compatibility and sanitation compliance.
Sliding bed variants (AR BB/FB/SB or MOR BB/FB/SB): White or green with bottom ply exposed. For conveyors with impact beds, continuous sliding bed applications, and bare back belts
