Fluent Conveyors supplies industrial 3-bolt flange bearing units for general replacement and retrofit applications. Shop flange bearings for vertical mounting and moderate to heavy loads.
Reliable performance for conveyor and industrial applications.
We carry Dodge flange bearings in other bolt configurations to match your mounting requirements and load conditions:

A 2-bolt design reduces the mounting footprint while delivering reliable shaft support.
About
2-bolt flange bearings (also called diamond flange bearings) provide compact vertical mounting for light to moderate load applications.

Available in square flange and piloted round flange configurations.
About
A 4-bolt square flange bearing pattern provides superior load distribution and mounting rigidity for heavy-duty conveyor applications.
Dodge bearings are manufactured in the USA at ISO 9001:2015-certified facilities. Fluent guarantees consistent quality and fast lead times for OEM replacement bearings.
and strength for your conveyors.
Dodge conveyor components deliver measurable advantages that improve your conveyor’s performance and lifespan:

Choose 3-bolt flange bearings when moderate to heavy loads require more mounting stability than 2-bolt configurations provide, but space or load conditions don't justify 4-bolt designs.
Common applications include:
Medium-duty material handling equipment in manufacturing, packaging, and distribution facilities
Wall or frame mounting applications requiring stronger mounting than 2-bolt patterns provide
Conveyor head shaft bearing and conveyor tail shaft bearing mounting
Idler shaft support for conveyor belt tracking and tensioning systems handling heavier materials
Equipment experiencing moderate vibration
Applications where one mounting bolt can align with the primary load direction for optimized force transfer
For light-duty applications, 2-bolt configurations may provide adequate support with reduced mounting complexity. For heavy-duty applications, upgrade to 4-bolt configurations for maximum load distribution and mounting rigidity. Protect bearings with bearing guards in contaminated environments.
Choose a locking mechanism based on shaft loads, thermal expansion, and maintenance access.

3-bolt flange bearings are available in different housing materials and seal configurations to match operating environments. Select materials and seals based on contamination exposure, temperature extremes, and washdown requirements.
For food processing conveyors, specify thermoplastic housings with food-grade grease (NSF H1 grease). These food and beverage bearings meet sanitary standards and withstand regular washdown cycles without degradation.
Relubricate bearings through a zerk fitting every 2,000–4,000 operating hours in clean environments. Increase frequency to 500–1,000 hours in dusty or wet conditions.
During lubrication, inspect the contact seal or metal shield for damage or deterioration. Replace damaged seals immediately to prevent contamination.
Check mounting bolt tightness monthly for the first three months, then quarterly. Vibration can loosen bolts over time.
Monitor bearing operating temperature during inspections. Temperatures exceeding the temperature rating indicate lubrication, loading, or alignment problems.

Flange bearing size is determined by load requirements, shaft diameter, mounting surface dimensions, conveyor speed, and environmental conditions. To figure out which flange bearing you need, follow these steps:
Dodge offers one of the industry's broadest mounted-bearing size ranges, so you can find an exact match.

Fluent designs and manufactures custom conveyors for aggregate, recycling, manufacturing, and other heavy industries. When you source flange bearings through Fluent, you're working with engineers who select, install, and maintain these components every day.
